The Marketing Committee is responsible for creating and implementing the marketing plan, working with other committees to meet their marketing needs, while addressing graphic design, website, and other media technology needs.
This committee plans DMA’s events including the annual Festival of Nations in September. The festival unites residents and businesses from the entire community, who join together for live music, dance and dining in the heart of the Midway district. Vendor booths are available for businesses and local organizations to display their wares, talents, and information.
Capital Improvement Committee
This committee guides the development of strategic planning and implementation of physical improvement in the district. Tasks include overseeing the district’s Tax Increment Financing (TIF) funding, leading and implementing the district’s visioning process and managing the district’s Storefront Mini Grant program.
Financial Development Committee
This committee guides DMA’s board and staff concerning financial affairs including the development of DMA’s long-term financial stability strategy.
