Open positions at DMA!

Division Midway Alliance has two open positions available at this moment, an Operations and Communications Coordinator and a Program Coordinator this summer!

Construction updates

Sidewalks along Division are continuing to be fixed and updated. The light on 148th Avenue will be reconfigured and the light on 125th Avenue will begin construction. The Transit project is scheduled for August 2019 with the civil construction starting in early December. Businesses will know when to expect crews in their area once Trimet and contractors have the timelines available.  

DMA & PBOT Resource Fair
On June 1, 2019 DMA and PBOT held a resource fair at the Midland Library.

Over 60 Community members attended and learned about the different programs and resources DMA & PBOT has to offer. They were also able to learn about applying to jobs and how to contact PBOT services and programs.

Trimet LIF Program

We are excited to be a partner site for TriMet Low Income Fare Program. Visit our office to know more about the program. We can help you to identify your eligibility and enroll in the program. We can serve in 6 different languages- Karen, Burmese, Mon, Spanish, Nepali, Tongan, English. If you know anyone that can get benefit from this program, then refer them to us. We are located in 11721 SE Division St

Language support is available:
Spanish and English Monday-Friday 9 am - 12 pm and 1 pm - 5 pm
Burmese/Mon Tuesday, Thursday 9 am - 12 pm and 1 pm - 5 pm
Tongan Thursday 11 am - 12 pm and 1 pm - 4 pm

SE Works

Are you looking for a job? Do you know someone who needs assistance in finding a job? At DMA our Community liaisons can help. Community liaisons provide information to our SE works coordinator, Nathaly Parrell, and she gets in contact with the community member and the community liaisons. If you need translation in Karen, Burmese, Tongan, and Spanish let a Community liaison know, and we can help!





Business Outreach Program
The BOP offers open office hours every Wednesday from 9 am - 12 pm. If you have an existing business or want to start a business, the BOP Business Advisors can answer questions during open office hours. Check the events section for upcoming training/workshop. Hosted by Portland Parks and Recreation these free events help build community through inclusive and family-friendly activities all throughout Portland.

Blue Lake Regional Park
Saturday, July 2nd, from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Kids ages 18 and younger are invited to head to Blue Lake Regional Park every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from June 25 through Aug. 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Summer Fun Days activities. 
So much fun, three days a week, all for free!
• Free parking when entering from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on event days.
• Free lunch at noon for kids ages 18 and younger.
• Free nature education and crafts, games and activities led by local youths working with OSU Extension Service.
• Become a Blue Lake Park Junior Ranger!
• Free fishing lessons on Thursdays, 10 a.m. to noon.
Metro, OSU Extension and Reynolds Nutrition are equal-opportunity providers.
This event is wheelchair accessible.

Free Summer Lunches for Kids
July - August 26*, 2019 at Midland Library, Rockwood Library, and Gresham Library

Multnomah County Library will offer free lunches for youth 18 and under this summer at Gresham, Midland, and Rockwood libraries.  Youth are not required to have a library card to receive a free lunch. The lunches are available Monday through Friday during the following times:

Gresham: 12:30–1:30 pm (June 17 through August 16)
Midland: 12–1 pm (June 17 through August 27)
Rockwood: 12–1 pm (June 24 through August 9)


The summer lunch program is made possible through partnerships with Gresham Barlow School District, Reynolds School District, and the Meals 4 Kids division of Meals on Wheels.


Midland Library Activites for the Summer
Starts June 20 all the way to August 24 (Times vary)

Midland Library will be offering activities for family and kids to do over the summer. The first activity, String Art, will be on June 20th, 2-3 pm. Click on the image to learn about the rest of the activities for the summer.
