The East Side Job Fair on Thursday, Nov. 16, offers job seekers a great opportunity to hook up with companies ready to hire them. The event, hosted by SE Works and the Community Works Project, will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the DHS East County Family Service Center, 11826 NE Glisan St.
More than 50 employers will be ready to talk about current job openings. Here’s just a sampling of the businesses, government entities and others expected to attend:

Off-street parking is available, and you can get to the DHS center by TriMet bus #25, which runs infrequently, or #73, which travels along 122nd Avenue.
